User Tips

WinZones' custom Message Alarm feature can help you in many ways. In addition to the expected business uses, customers tell us they use it to notify them of meal reservations, doctor appointments, help them time conference calls and satellite uplinks, remind them to pick up children from school, alert them to the opening and closing of the Stock Exchange, and so on. To set multiple daily alarms for a single location, create as many clocks as needed for that location. For example, if you need to call your office in Los Angeles at 10:00 a.m. , 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., create two additional Los Angeles clocks and set a different alarm for each clock. These additional "alarm" clocks can be reduced in size until only the city name shows and then stacked on top of each other, to conserve space on your screen.

Alarm Sound

WinZones is programmed to use your computer's "Default Beep" or "Beep" wav file as its alarm sound.

If you have questions or need further assistance, please refer to WinZones' Help and/or Readme files, email us at info@extendinc.com or give us a call at 925-484-0395 between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Pacific Time, Monday through Friday.
