Welcome to our home page
Horse & Swallow is a riding facility in Two
Rock Valley west of
Petaluma. Several beautiful and athletic horses are
available for
dressage and jumping. Limited boarding is available for privately
owned horses. And there is a 35-acre open pasture of rye grass and
wetland for horses amenable to a herd that includes both yearlings
and senior citizens.
The facilities include two all-weather arenas, a full size
dressage court and a quarter-mile track with schooling jumps.
Lessons are $40 each. A lesson with an additional weekday
mounted exercise session is $65 per week. Four lessons with
unlimited exercise sessions are $280 per month.
Some of the horses available for lessons or sponsorship include:
Tony, 17.1HH Freisian gelding
Merlin, 16.3HH German WB gelding
Zola, 16HH SWB mare (Zorn daughter)
Archie, 17.3HH Hanoverian gelding (Windsurfer son)
Enjoy regular riding on competition-worthy mounts
without the
burdens of ownership. Basic competency (by taking lessons) to
manage horses safely is required for riding without supervision.
But learning to ride well is an exciting journey that keeps on going
and that is the JOY OF HORSEBACK RIDING!
