We are located on the beautiful central coast in San Juan Bautista.
Justin has been showing horses since he was 5 years old. Last year in 2008 Justin was named the Leading New Non Pro Rider. After showing for several years in the Non Pro division Justin turned to training as a professional for the public in 2009.
Justin started his first 2 year olds when he was 12 years old with the help of his father, Walter Wright- a long time trainer specializing in problem and spoiled horses. By the time he was 18, Justin was starting all of our 2 year olds (20-35 yearly).
Justin believes if you give a colt a good start and do everything right- your horse will tell you what he wants to be. Then it's Justin's job to make him the best he can be, whether it is a performance horse working cattle, a reiner, rope horse, ranch horse or a pleasure horse to ride out on the trails.
Besides starting colts, and showing in all levels of competition, Justin also takes in rope horses, team sorting and penning and pleasure horses. He also has time for limited riding lessons by appointment. The ranch also has a riding program with several wonderful lesson horses. We offer lessons to children and adults from very beginners to the more advanced. |
