In her clinics, Sara offers basic, useful hands-on acupressure and shiatsu massage techniques (as well as incorporating some handy stretches), which you can use forever, and on any horse. Sara's students have included a wide spectrum of horse lovers including competitors, trainers, farriers, veterinarians, clinicians, leisure riders, and horse lovers in general who want the best for their equine friends. These techniques are easy to learn and can be used for different needs.

You will come away being able to do your own work on your horse and you will be amazed at your own creativity and how you can develop a useful routine custom-made for the particular needs or vulnerabilities of your horse.

Clinics are held on weekends - all day Saturday and half day Sunday depending on material covered. If you are interested in hosting a clinic at your facility, please call (530) 432-8274 or send email to sarasol@sonic.net to request more information.

¡°This clinic was excellent in presentation and content. Do not miss working with Sara!¡± Jill Peterson

With the hands-on format of this clinic, I had direct contact with my horse and I began to understand her needs and how to work through them. This is a wonderful way to bond with your horse and further develop the trust factor. I also benefited from the breathing and touch ¨C it was very relaxing.¡± Greg Yates

"No improvement needed. Thank you so much! You've given my horse and I something more to build on and enhance our relationship and health.¡± Jon S. Colvin

"Everybody was tremendously pleased with the courses; they never stop talking about them and having a go at newly-arrived horses. Also what is extremely nice is that they were all delighted with Sara as a person too and never failed to mention it so, all in all, a great success. A friend of mine who was at Sara's clinic feels she has finally found her role in life by pursuing studies in acupuncture for animals. I hope you'll relay this to Sara so she'll be encouraged to come again.¡± Lucy Rees, Welsh Natural Horse Trainer, UK and Spain, Author of "The Horse's Mind" and "The Maze". www.lucyrees.com

"This clinic is most interesting and due to the importance and depth of the subject, I would love to take a follow-up class. The instructor was very knowledgeable and made the class fun and interesting in spite of all the material covered."

"I loved this introductory clinic to equine acupressure and shiatsu massage! All the material covered was clearly explained and I found the lab time very useful in helping me understand what was being explained and to feel it personally. I would have liked to have gone into more depth on the subject but I understand it is too much for the time assigned. I am going be practicing on my mare and waiting for part 2 of this clinic."

"This clinic has been most instructive and fun and in only a couple of days we have learned a lot with which to work on our horses."

"I was totally ignorant of these healing arts and I have found it fascinating to see that they do work! It has been very interesting to me as a horse professional to realize that sometimes I was working unconsciously on certain points in trying to calm the animal. Now I have learnt that they are acupressure points! I see this as a great tool in helping balance stabled horses as well as equine athletes."
