Sara was a tenant on my property and a friend of mine and of my horses for several years. When it comes to equine care, there is no one better. I trusted her completely. Her knowledge of the horse far exceeds what anyone can learn in a class or even with experience; she appears to be almost psychic when is comes to finding out what horses need. I learned from her and I asked for her advice and assistance all the time, whether it was clipping for the first time, treating a wound, or just figuring out what the horse was trying to tell us. My horses responded to her as if she was one of them. When I had to clip my yearling stallion's ears for the first time, he put up a big fight... that is, until I called Sara. She soothed him, talked to him and touched him in just the right way, applying acupressure so that he calmed down immediately, and we could clip him. She is able to "talk" to them somehow, maybe through her touch, her softness and kindness. Her concern for equine welfare is paramount. Her passion is the wellness and the happiness of the horse.
