Sessions

Sessions vary in length of time. Working with animals means there are no set time rules. Basically, a session is about an hour to an hour and a half. A horse may be suspicious and uneasy if it is their first bodywork session. Restlessness may shorten the session since forcing it on them beats the purpose. Once they understand and feel what is happening, they love it and settle down.

At evaluation sessions (usually the first), and before the bodywork, the horse is observed turned out with other horses if possible, under saddle, and collecting any information from the owner on equine dental work, shoeing, general nutrition, exercise, turn-out routine, and general behavior.

Follow-up sessions can be working on specific problems or general maintenance and can be determined once the horse has been evaluated.

For all sessions, a horse should be groomed and not too close to feeding times.

RATES

We are all feeling the economic pinch and as a horse guardian myself, I understand that providing healing bodywork for one's horse can be at the bottom of the list these days. Therefore, I am temporarily reducing my rates. Please email or call me for further details.

ALL FEES ARE DUE AT TIME OF SESSION
