"HOOFPRINTS" - NOTES FROM OUR CUSTOMERS

Dear Bonnie, My husband and I are planning to make our way (for the fourth time) down the Alcan Highway to the Lower 48 with horses.  We travel in tandem with a motorhome and a truck and horse trailer.  We are looking for good trails to ride within the northwest (more or less) where we can park our motorhome nearby and enjoy day rides.  We ride well trained, sensible horses (Kentucky Mtn. Saddle Horses) and enjoy all trails, from easy to challenging.  I have ordered two of the books from your website and anxiously await their arrival.  If you can send along any information or tips, your favorite riding places, ‘must see’ locations, etc. we would be ever so grateful.  We plan to leave home late August or early September and it will take us a week to travel the Alcan and arrive in WA. Thank you. Diane, Chugiak, Alaska

Just a short note to let you know that I received item today in the mail. Super fast shipping and wonderful service. Thank you!!!!!!! Hope you and yours have a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year. All the best, Doreen

Dear Bonnie, I received the new legbands and batteries and found that the new batteries cured the problem with the other legbands. I am thinking that perhaps the heat of the tack room in the trailer affected the battery life so I will take care to store them in the barn. I know we had discussed returning the original set but I think I would like to keep them as a back up pair. Please email me a total and I will send you a check for the purchase price and shipping promptly. Thank you for your fast, professional and courteous response to my concerns and I look forward to doing business with you in the future as well as recommending you to my friends. Jerri, Mena, Arkansas

Bonnie, I just wanted to take a minute to let you know that my order came today. You are every bit as good as your web comments section says you are, and probably even a little bit better!! Hopefully, we will all start 2004 on horseback and will kiss 2003 goodbye with no regrets. Corki

Please send me a catalogue so I can see what other goodies you have!  L. Hirsch DVM

Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed your presentation on Friday at the horse expo here in Sacramento. I have gone horse camping just two times, both at Pt.Reyes/Stewart Ranch and really enjoyed it. I will most likely purchase some of your maps etc. as you really seem to have a vast amount of knowledge to share which I really appreciate. Thank you, Tina

We attended your seminar on horse camping at the Horse Expo in Sacramento. We really enjoyed your talk! We have been avid horse campers for a number of years, and it's always fun to learn something new!! Thank you again for the handout with the web sites and information on horse camping in our beautiful state ( and beyond ). Hope to see you on the trails, Patti and Charlotte

mongolia.jpg (49675 bytes)Greetings from Mongolia, where we have been doing great horsecamping trips (see photo, right - click to view full-size image). Would you send your catalogue to us over here, please. Thanks very much! Sabine and Keith, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

I am very interested in your work and would like to receive a catalog. I live in Germany and am moving to the United States soon. I trail ride often here and hope to find out about trails in the United States. Thanks! I read about your ad in Horses USA and then checked out your website. I really admire the work you do! Your horse crazy friend, Alyssa, Germany

I appreciate you sending the map to me. I am an avid endurance rider. My father in law (at 68) just discovered the magical world of horses last year. He came out here to So. Calif. to ride with me just a few weeks ago and is going to get a trail horse in NY this summer. I am sure he will probably order more stuff from you if you send him a catalog. Thanks again for the personal service.  Kathy

Hi Bonnie! Thank you so much, we received the books Saturday. I can't wait to get to Anza-Borrego! Your customer service is awesome. Jan

I highly recommend the tissue paper, I just ordered some and it was free shipping. Super nice people too, handwritten thanks, and it was shipped super quick. The brown tissue is especially nice. Heather

Thanks for your fast service. I work for the post office and who knows why things go the way they do, but we received the book Saturday.  Now that was fast!!  We will keep your site in our favorites list and order again.  Thanks again, it was a pleasure doing business with you. Joan

I got the park map and info today... thanks so much!! You're always helpful and nice! Thanks! Maddy and my bratty mare Wicket

I'm a novice backcountry rider, and really appreciate all your resources to help me be safe and well-equipped. I am experienced in the Bay Area parks and trails, and appreciate your excellent resource pool to help explore our fabulous reserve of equestrian trails. We are truly blessed. Dennis.

I listened to your ("Horsecamping") presentation in Sacramento at Horse Expo. Really good! I am in mid-60s and love to ride and camp with my horse. Please send a copy of your catalog. Claudia

Heard thru a friend your equine trail maps are terrific.....Kim, California

Hi Bonnie, I'm with the Forest Service in Pueblo Colorado and lately I've been getting postcards (Trail Rider's Comment Card) they are being addressed to an old office address. They cards are coming mostly from users of the Silver Circle Trail if that helps. I don't know if you are supplying that address. If you are, could you update our address to Pike and San Isabel Nat'l Forests, 2840 Kachina Drive (old address is 1920 Valley Drive), Pueblo, CO 81008. Thanks for your help, you have a nice web page. N. Weierbach, Recreation Program Manager, Pike & San Isabel National Forests, Cimarron & Comanche National Grasslands

I'm just beginning trail riding with my new 3 year old SSH. I lost my wonderful trail horse in January in a barn fire, along with all of my tack. I had purchased a Swiss bell from you to hang on his saddle last year. Believe it or not, we found that little bell in the rubble that was once the barn. It is burnt, but it sits proudly in front of his picture! Debbie
